Hermès Paddock Duo MagSafe charger costs more than three iPhone 17 Pros

Hermès now offers an expensive MagSafe charger with a leather carrying case.

French luxury fashion house Hermès has unveiled an ultra-premium MagSafe charger for the iPhone and Apple Watch. While it certainly looks elegant, the bundle with a leather case costs more than three iPhone 17 Pros combined.

Apple has collaborated with Hermès for years on various projects, including high-end leather straps for the Apple Watch (starting at $219 on Amazon). The French luxury fashion label has now introduced new accessories for Apple users as part of its spring collection.

The standout piece is a MagSafe charger clad entirely in leather. The left charging pad is designed to accommodate an Apple Watch, while the right pad offers higher output for faster iPhone charging. The cable is fully integrated, meaning it can’t be easily replaced if it becomes defective. The device also doesn’t ship with a USB-C adapter and requires one capable of delivering at least 20 watts.

The decision to omit an adapter is especially surprising given that the MagSafe charger and carrying case cost $5,150 as a set – more than three times the price of an iPhone 17 Pro with 256 GB of storage. Besides holding the MagSafe charger, the leather case has enough room for a USB-C adapter and small accessories such as Apple Watch straps and other cables. The case is crafted in France, which likely contributes significantly to its very steep price.

Pricing and availability

The Hermès Paddock Duo MagSafe charger and Grand Paddock case are now available for $5,150 from the official online shop. The charger alone is priced at $1,750, and Hermès also offers a bundle with a smaller oval case for $4,225.
