Huawei MateView GT (2026) launches with 160 Hz 4K panel, five speakers and 100W USB-C port

Huawei is relaunching the MateView GT 27 and is offering the 2026 version in four different versions. The top model uses a 27-inch IPS panel that achieves full 4K resolution and a frame rate of 160 Hz, can display 95% of the DCI-P3 color space and achieves a brightness of 450 nits.
Huawei is thus competing with monitors such as the Asus TUF Gaming VG27UQ1A ($379 on Amazon), but aims to offer better features in many areas. Huawei offers a 320 Hz mode in which the resolution is reduced to 1,080p, while two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB-C port with 100 watt power delivery offer a wide range of connections. Huawei has installed a sound system with five drivers, including two 5-watt full-range speakers, two 3-watt tweeters and a 5-watt woofer.
The so-called "Smooth Edition" achieves a resolution of only 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a lower brightness of 350 nits, but achieves a higher frame rate of 200 Hz. Both the 4K and QHD versions of the Huawei MateView GT 27 (2026) are also available without integrated speakers and without a USB-C port at a lower price.
