Xiaomi releases new budget gaming monitors with up to 300 Hz refresh rate

Xiaomi has quietly launched a new batch of affordable gaming monitors. To recap, the company has released the G Pro 27Qi 2026, G27i 2026, G27Qi 2026 and the G34WQi 2026 globally in the last few months. By contrast, the Redmi G25 2026, Redmi G25 2026 300Hz and Redmi G27q 2026 remain exclusive to China for the time being.
Ultimately, little separates the Redmi G25 2026 and Redmi G25 2026 300Hz. As their names suggest, the pair feature 25-inch IPS panels. Additionally, both output at 1080p with 1 ms GtG response times, 100% sRGB colour space coverage and 400 nits SDR brightness.
However, the standard Redmi G25 2026 peaks at 240 Hz rather than the 300 Hz refresh rate that the Redmi G25 2026 300Hz reaches. Surprisingly, Xiaomi charges 25% extra for a 60 Hz faster frame rate. For reference, pricing runs to CNY 599 (~$87) for the Redmi G25 2026 and to CNY 749 (~$109) for the Redmi G25 2026 300Hz.
Meanwhile, the Redmi G27Q 2026 is more expensive still at CNY 1,299 (~$189). For that uplift, Xiaomi includes a 320 Hz panel that spans 27-inches diagonally. The new monitor also outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, albeit with 400 nits peak brightness and 1 ms GtG response times too.
Typically, Xiaomi does not release Redmi gaming monitors globally. Instead, it tends to rebrand them under its Gaming Monitor brand. Thus, we would not be surprised if Xiaomi launched these new monitors globally later this year, with the two G25 monitors likely serving as larger alternatives to the Gaming Monitor G24i (curr. $129 on Amazon).
