Xiaomi has released the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026. Sporting three significant upgrades on its predecessor, the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 combines a 2.5K resolution with a 200 Hz refresh rate with a brighter panel and AMD FreeSync Premium support.

Xiaomi has quietly released its new 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi gaming monitor. For reference, the company added the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 to its global website at the end of last year. Now, the monitor has landed in Australia, where it is already heavily discounted.

To recap, the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 is a faster alternative to the 2K Monitor A27Qi (curr. $184.99 on Amazon). Please note Xiaomi's implication that both offer 2K resolutions is erroneous. Instead, the pair output at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, which is commonly referred to as 2.5K or 1440p. Setting that aside, the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 also delivers a 200 Hz refresh rate across its 27-inch IPS panel.

Not only that, but Xiaomi reports 400 nits peak brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 1 ms GtG response times. Moreover, the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 offers AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen tearing. Also, the monitor comes with a 3.5 mm jack plus dual DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports. Currently, the 2K Gaming Monitor G27Qi 2026 retails for AUD 289 (~$201), discounted by 28% from AUD 399 (~$278). There is no word yet on availability for other markets yet, though.
