Nework has unveiled the portable 27-inch MoveMate Hi-Fi touchscreen tablet with a rolling stand and Android OS for convenient use in any room. The 60 Hz, FHD (1,920 x 1,080) display has a contrast ratio of 1,200:1 and a maximum brightness of 300 nits, with an average response time of 14 ms.
The unit runs Android 14 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, enabling full access to apps in the Google Play Store. Users can control apps using the touchscreen or the remote control, which can act as a mouse. The remote also has a microphone to access Google Assistant and Gemini AI by speaking.
Besides streaming media and music from popular services such as Netflix and YouTube, owners can also stream media over Wi-Fi 6 or Bluetooth 5.2 connections from their smartphones and extend computer displays using Android DLNA, Apple AirPlay, KShare, and Miracast. Sound is output through a 44-watt quad-speaker system that includes a subwoofer.
The 28.6 lbs. (13.0 kg) MoveMate comes with a height-adjustable stand and can pivot from landscape to portrait mode or tilt up and down for better framing while video chatting using the 5 MP webcam.
For owners who wish to use the MoveMate outdoors or on their laps, its 213 Wh battery can power the massive Android tablet for up 8.0 hours, according to Nework.
The Nework MoveMate Hi-Fi has an MSRP of $899.99 and is available from Amazon.
