G27i 2026: Affordable New Xiaomi gaming monitor receives international release

Xiaomi has started the inevitable global rollout of a new 27-inch monitor. Aimed squarely at gamers, the Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 follows on from the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 that reached Australia towards the end of last month. While the latter peaks at 2,000 nits across small areas, the Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 musters a full panel brightness of around 400 nits.
Nonetheless, the Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 gets much brighter than its predecessor (curr. $149.99 on Amazon), which peaked at 250 nits. Also, the new Gaming Monitor G27i offers a 200 Hz refresh rate compared to 165 Hz for its 2025 counterpart. With that being said, the Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 retains its predecessor's 1 ms GtG response times and 1,920 x 1,080 native resolution.
Other changes include a redesigned stand and narrower bezels. Xiaomi continues to equip the Gaming Monitor G27i with just a 3.5 mm jack, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports, though. The Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 is available in Singapore for SGD 199 (~$156), up from SGD 159 (~$125) for last year's model. Meanwhile, a UK retailer is offering the same monitor for around £184 including 20% VAT (~$251). Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not confirmed when its new 1080p and 27-inch gaming monitor will reach other markets yet.
