AOC has launched a new Mini LED gaming monitor in its home market. To recap, the company presented the Q27G4SMN just over two months ago. At the same time, it released the Agon U27G4XM globally with comparable features like 1,152 Mini LED backlight zones to rival existing options like the Q27G3XMN (curr. $279.99 on Amazon).
Now, it has started selling the Agon AG275UXM2 to replace the older Agon AG275UXM. This time, AOC's latest 27-inch gaming monitor jumps to 2,304 local dimming zones thanks to its QD Mini LED backlight technology. Consequently, the Agon AG275UXM2 is said to deliver 1,600 nits HDR peak brightness and 600 nits in SDR mode.
Moreover, the Agon AG275UXM2 boasts a 4K native resolution and a 160 Hz refresh with 0.5 ms MPRT response times. The monitor can also switch to a 330 Hz refresh rate by dropping its resolution to 1080p. Incidentally, this change is said to reduce MPRT response times to 0.3 ms as well.
Elsewhere, the Agon AG275UXM2 contains DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 (48 Gbps), USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB Type-C (65 W) ports, along with a KVM switch and an ergonomic stand. The Agon AG275UXM2 retails for CNY 3,999 (~$475) in China. There is no word on international availability yet, though.
