Asus has released plenty of Gen 3 QD-OLED gaming monitors since adopting the panel technology in early 2024 with the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM (curr. $1,239 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the company has decided to return to Samsung Display's popular panel technology again with the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDMS.
Accordingly, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDMS outputs at 4K and 240 Hz across its 32-inch panel with a 140 PPI and 250 nits full panel brightness in SDR mode. Alternatively, enabling HDR mode should allow the new monitor to reach 1,000 nits across small areas (APL 3%). The ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDMS also delivers 0.03 ms GtG response times with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync technologies on hand to mitigate image tearing at high refresh rates.
Moreover, Asus has included an ergonomic stand, three display outputs and a three-port USB hub. While the monitor lacks speakers, it does come with a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones and external audio equipment. Currently, Asus estimates that the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDMS should reach parts of Europe by the end of March 2026 at the latest. Pricing and availability for other markets remain unknown at this stage, though.
