AOC Q27G3XMN: US pricing revealed for new 27-inch Mini LED gaming monitor with 1440p and 180 Hz panel
AOC has now revealed US pricing for the Q27G3XMN, a gaming monitor that it introduced last month in China. As its name implies, the AOC Q27G3XMN combines 1440p visuals with a 27-inch panel. Additionally, the monitor has received VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification thanks to its 336 Mini LED local dimming zones. For reference, these should also ensure that the AOC Q27G3XMN delivers at least 450 nits peak brightness when viewing SDR content.
According to AOC, the Q27G3XMN complements its 1440p (2,560 x 1,440) native resolution with a native 144 Hz refresh rate that it can overclock to 180 Hz. However, the latter only applies when the gaming monitor is connected to a device via its DisplayPort 1.4 port. Alternatively, the AOC Q27G3XMN supports up to 120 Hz gaming on modern game consoles through its HDMI 2.0 ports at 1080p.
Moreover, the monitor offers 1 ms GtG response times, AMD FreeSync Premium to mitigate image tearing and 96% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Currently, AOC has not listed the Q27G3XMN on its US website. However, the company has listed the gaming monitor on Amazon US for US$309.99. Please see Amazon's listing for more details.
