ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM3: New Asus gaming monitor receives earlier than expected release as global launch looms

Asus has finally released its ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 gaming monitor in some capacity. Known as the PG32UCDM3 for short, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 surfaced in December before fully debuting during CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
Shortly afterwards, Asus indicated that the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 would be available 'towards the end of Q1'. While almost a month has passed since that announcement, the company remained quiet about full availability details.
Now, Asus has quietly released the monitor ahead of time in China, too. Equipped with a 4K and 240 Hz QD-OLED panel, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 matches the PG32UCDM and PG32UCDMR (curr. $1,199.99 on Amazon). While Asus' new monitor provides up to 1,000 nits peak brightness in HDR mode, it does so with VESA TrueBlack 500 True Black certification.
Moreover, Asus equips its new monitor with BlackShield, a semi-glossy film that should deliver greater image clarity than on the PG32UCDM or PG32UCDMR. Also, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 features a DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) port along with dual HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C (90 W) connections. Asus has priced the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen3 at CNY 8,499 (~$1,225) in China. By contrast, Asus previously suggested it would charge $1,299 for the same monitor in the US.
