Asus ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG arrives with a 34-inch curved display, 240Hz, and built-in Google TV

The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG is a new ultrawide OLED monitor that combines the features of a gaming display and a smart TV. Not to be confused with the XG34WCDG, this model was also first shown at Computex 2025, but Asus is only now releasing it. Buyers can purchase the monitor through the Asus store for $1,199 in the US, while in the UK it is listed at £949 on Amazon.
The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG is built around a Gen 2 QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display, similar to the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDG. The difference here is the added smart features. This model comes with Google TV based on Android 14, Dolby Vision support, and even pre-installed GeForce Now, meaning you can stream TV shows and movies or jump into cloud gaming without connecting a console or PC. Speaking of which, it features a faster 240Hz refresh rate paired with G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro VRR.
At its core, this is still a 34-inch ultrawide with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and a gentle 1800R curve. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and reaches up to 1,000 nits brightness in HDR and 250 nits in SDR. In addition to Dolby Vision, it's also certified under the DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier. Other features include a proximity sensor, Wi-Fi 6, and an included remote control.
For ports, you get two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB hub, and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery, which is handy for charging a work laptop. That said, the smart TV functionality does come at a price, though. At $1,199, it carries a $200 premium over the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDG, which currently sells for $999.
