Gigabyte releases new 1440p 240Hz monitor with RealBlack Glossy WOLED display for the first time

Gigabyte has now released the GO27Q24G in China, where it is currently listed at 2,599 yuan (~$376). While that price will almost certainly be higher in the US due to tariffs, it still shapes up as one of the more affordable glossy QHD 240Hz OLED options. The monitor uses an older MLA+ WOLED panel, though it features the same "RealBlack Glossy" coating as the MO27Q28GR with a newer Tandem WOLED panel.
The GO27Q24G appeared on the Gigabyte global website earlier this year, so a wider rollout is likely in the works. For now, however, it is only available for preorder in China.
Sharper and clearer gaming with Glossy WOLED
At its core, the Gigabyte GO27Q24G is a 2560 x 1440 QHD OLED with a 240Hz refresh rate. Its main selling point is the glossy coating, which is known to deliver sharper and clearer images without the "grainy" effect found on matte panels. Colors will also pop more here, with deeper blacks for excellent contrast. However, reflections will be more noticeable compared to matte displays, especially in direct light sources, like bright windows.
That said, with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits in HDR, it should help reduce glare in brighter rooms. In addition, the GO27Q24G features Gigabyte's HyperNits technology, which can boost brightness by up to 30% without clipping highlights. Other specs include DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and support for both G-Sync and FreeSync. For connectivity, it includes dual HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and USB-C with 15W Power Delivery.
The Gigabyte GO27Q24G is now available for preorder in China via JD.com for the equivalent of $376.
