BenQ’s new Mac monitor with Nano Gloss display goes on sale with 20% discount

Last month, BenQ introduced the MA270S monitor, which is primarily targeted at Mac users. Now, the company has officially announced the price and availability of the monitor. To be more precise, interested buyers can now pre-order the MA270S monitor via the BenQ official website and Amazon for an MSRP of $999. During the MA270S pre-order period, customers will receive 20% off the purchase of a second unit. Plus, this promotion also applied to the BenQ PD2730S 5K monitor. 

The monitor is designed to give Mac users the clarity, color, and intuitive experience they expect from a native Apple display, said BenQ in its press release. It features a 27-inch Nano Gloss panel that delivers true 5K (5120 x 2880) pixel resolution with 500-nit brightness. On top of this, the panel covers 99% of the P3 color gamut and supports a 2000:1 contrast ratio for vibrant color reproduction and crisp detail. 

Furthermore, the monitor is said to match macOS's native pixel density of 218 ppi for sharper text and lifelike images. In terms of connectivity, the model offers two HDMI, two USB-C, two USB-A, and Thunderbolt 4 ports with up to 96 W power delivery, enough to charge most MacBooks. It’s also equipped with a 150 mm adjustable stand with tilt, pivot, swivel, and height support.
