As memory and RAM prices continue to rise, gamers have no option but to hunt for attractive gaming monitor deals in order to bring down their costs when building a new gaming PC. Thankfully, well-priced gaming monitors are not nearly as difficult to find as most other PC components nowadays.

The LG 27-inch GX7 OLED is one such gaming monitor, currently available with a 29% discount on Amazon bringing its price down to just $600. At just $50 above its all-time low from last November, the GX7 undoubtedly packs a lot of value for fast-paced gamers at its current price.

The 27-inch panel sports a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and a refresh rate of 280 Hz. Clearly, the gaming monitor is aimed at folks who prefer ultra-fast panels over high-fidelity ones. The monitor's tandem OLED panel utilizes 4th-gen WOLED technology, and performs extremely well. Peak brightness in HDR mode tops out at around 818 nits in a 10% window, and around 350 nits in a 100% window.

The LG GX7 OLED gaming monitor also covers almost the entire DCI-P3 color gamut, which is great. Color accuracy is also perfectly admirable, but the results are better with peak brightness turned off, which is not always ideal. RTINGS' comprehensive review of the LG GX7 found very little room for complaint, and we definitely recommend giving it a watch before pulling the trigger. That said, a notable downside to the GX7 is the vertical banding issue in dark scenes that varies from panel to panel.

Input options include dual HDMI 2.1 and a single DisplayPort 1.4 port. Dual USB 3.0 Type-A ports are also offered, as is an audio jack.
