"Lenovo" GT3 Max: Budget drone offers 30-minute flight time and controller with display

The GT3 Max is yet another relatively affordable drone sold on AliExpress. Whilst the drone carries Lenovo branding, it remains unclear whether or to what extent Lenovo is involved with the product, especially considering various low-cost drones are marketed under this name on the platform. Starting at roughly €62 / £54 including taxes, the GT3 Max is available as a direct import, though shipping times should be reasonably short.
According to official specs, the GT3 Max can reach a maximum speed of 6 m/s, which is modest for a drone. It offers up to 30 minutes of flight time and takes around 60 minutes to recharge. As a result, at least three batteries are needed to maintain continuous flight. The manufacturer claims the drone can perform aerial rolls, potentially allowing for more dynamic shots. The device also features integrated lighting, which may improve its visibility during night flight.
The GT3 Max is equipped with optical obstacle avoidance to help prevent collisions. The propellers are protected to enhance durability and reduce the risk of injury. Video and photo capture can be triggered using gestures. Although the specifications list an 8K camera, the device doesn’t seem capable of recording videos at this resolution. Given its low price point, the product likely can’t come close to matching the image quality offered by much more expensive drones.
