Above It All, See It All: DJI officially confirms launch date for new Avata 360 drone

DJI has revealed a new Avata 360-related teaser. Shared across its social media channels, the new teaser has arrived 48 hours before leakers previously indicated. Nonetheless, the short video marks a departure for DJI from its recent release campaigns.
To recap, DJI has recently teased and launched devices in China first before sharing equivalent posts globally. As a result, the RS5 and Osmo Action 6 were available a few weeks earlier in DJI's home market than in other countries. That approach has changed for its next release, which DJI has teased simultaneously in China and elsewhere.
Unusually, the company has named its upcoming device, too. As the video below clearly shows, DJI's next device will be the Avata 360. An Antigravity A1 rival (curr. $1,599 on Amazon), the Avata 360 is confirmed to be capable of shooting 8K and 360° footage just like its Antigravity rival.
However, recent leaks indicate that the Avata 360 will also be capable of shooting first-person view (FPV) footage just like the Avata 2 before it. The DJI Avata 360 will officially debut on March 26 at 12:00 UTC. Please see DJI's website for more details ahead of its Above It All, See It All event.
