Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra turns into laptop replacement with Samsung's new Pro Keyboard

Featuring a 14.6-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is larger and more powerful than some laptops. The new Samsung Pro Keyboard effectively turns the Android tablet into a laptop replacement.
With the keyboard attached, the tablet can even fold closed and be carried around like a laptop, while the hinge allows the display to be positioned at a comfortable angle. Data and power are delivered via metal pins on the back of the tablet, so the keyboard doesn’t need to be charged separately. The Pro Keyboard features a multitouch trackpad that is 14.6% larger than the one on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s Keyboard Book Cover.
It also includes a dedicated DeX button for switching to Samsung’s desktop mode, which allows apps and windows to be moved freely around the screen, similar to Microsoft Windows. The F1, F2 and F3 keys can be mapped to launch user-specified apps, while an AI button provides quick access to your preferred AI chatbot. The Samsung Pro Keyboard adds around 636 g (1.4 lb), bringing the total weight of the keyboard-tablet combo to 1.33 kg (2.9 lb) – heavier than many 14-inch laptops.
