Leak: Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra revealed with controversial design

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra ($1,089 on Amazon) was released in September 2025, so the launch of its successor is likely just around the corner. The highly reliable leaker @OnLeaks has already published high-resolution renders and the exact dimensions of the next-generation flagship tablet on SmartphoneChecker.
However, the images could just as easily show the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, as the design of the two tablets is practically identical. At 326.3 x 208.5 x 5.1 millimeters, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is actually the same size and just as thin as its predecessor. The device features a fairly standard design with a flat metal frame, two rear cameras, and very thin screen bezels. However, Samsung has also carried over the most controversial design feature from last year’s flagship tablet – the selfie camera is once again housed in a notch that covers part of the display.
On the back, you can see three metal pins that should allow you to connect a keyboard case. According to rumors, Samsung is carrying over the 14.6-inch AMOLED panel, the 11,600 mAh battery, and 45-watt fast charging via USB-C directly from the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
The main new feature is the processor, as a benchmark leak has shown, Samsung is using a MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Although this flagship chip is nearly as fast as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, it is significantly slower than the Apple M5 in the iPad Pro, which delivers 56 percent better CPU performance and more than twice the GPU performance.
