The Antigravity A1 has been a long time coming. Announced as a brand incubated by Insta360 in July, Antigravity then previewed the drone in August with a January 2026 launch revealed at the time. Fast forward to December and Antigravity has decided to release the A1 before DJI gets its impending Avata 360 out the door.
Available from today, the Antigravity A1 weighs in at 249 g with its Flight Battery to ensure EU C0 classification. Please note that Antigravity's High-Capacity Flight Battery takes the A1's weight to 291 g, which reclassifies it as an EU C1 drone. Setting that aside, the Antigravity A1 boasts the following specifications:
- Battery life: 24 minutes (Flight Battery) or 39 minutes (High-Capacity Flight Battery)
- Flight distance: 13 km (8 miles) (Flight Battery) or 23 km (14.3 miles) (High-Capacity Flight Battery)
- Camera: 1/1.28-inch, f/2.2 aperture, 8K/30 FPS, 5.2K/60 FPS or 4K/100 FPS 360° footage, 55 MP photos, 100-6,400 ISO, 1/8000 - 1/20s shutter speed
- Max speeds: 8 m/s (17.9 mph) ascent & descent speeds, 16 ms (35.8 mph) in S Mode with 10.7 m/s (24 mph) wind resistance
Also, the Antigravity A1 supports BeiDou, Galileo and GPS satellite navigation systems. Meanwhile, the drone's Vision Goggles feature dual 1-inch Micro OLED displays that output at 2,560 x 2,560 pixels per eye. Unfortunately, these must be tethered to an external battery like Apple's Vision Pro rather than the built-in battery solution offered in DJI's alternatives like the Goggles N3 (curr. $339 on Amazon).
The Antigravity A1 is available to order from today, starting at $1,599 in the US, CA$1,899 in Canada, €1,399 in the Eurozone, £1,219 in the UK and AU$2,199 in Australia. Those wanting additional flight batteries, propellers and a sling bag will need to step up to the Explorer Bundle though, which retails for $1,899, CA$2,199, €1,599, £1,399 and AU$2,799. Antigravity also offers the Infinity Bundle for $1,999, CA$2,299, €1,699, £1,499 and AU$2,899, which adds swaps in three High Capacity Flight batteries and a Quick Reader accessory for simplifying media transfers.
