DJI did not release any new devices before the end of 2025, as various leaks and rumours suggested. With that being said, alleged Avata 360 retail packaging turned up almost a month ago to signal that the drone's launch was close. For reference, the Avata 360 serves as DJI's rival to the Antigravity A1 and replacement for the Avata 2 (curr. $999 on Amazon).
According to information obtained by various sources, the Avata 360 is set to start at CNY 2,988 (~$428) with just a battery. However, the drone will also be available for CNY 3,988 (~$571) with a battery and an RC 2 remote controller. Alternatively, DJI is said to be charging CNY 5,688 (~$814) for the same drone with either an RC 2 or Goggles N3 and other accessories.
Unfortunately, this leak does not offer any further details about when the Avata 360 will be orderable. Currently, DJI is expected to unveil the Avata 360 sometime during Q1 2026. If past releases are anything to go by, then the Avata 360 will reach China before landing in other markets. Unfortunately, the US' recent ban on the sales and imports of foreign-made drones means that a release there is improbable if not impossible for the time being.
