Antigravity has just released the A1 as the first consumer-grade 360-degree drone. DJI has long been reported to not be far behind, first with a Mini 360 and now the Avata 360. Now, it seems that the company could be closer than previous reports indicated.
Recently, Igor Bogdanov published various promotional images that confirmed the drone's name as the Avata 360. Typically, these leak a while before a drone's release though, just like the Avata 2 (curr. $849 on Amazon) and the Mini 5 Pro more recently. The appearance of alleged Avata 360 retail packaging suggests that DJI has already shipped units to influencers.
At this stage, the original source of the image reproduced below is unclear. From what we can tell, various X accounts began posting the same image yesterday with filters applied to obscure certain details and make it harder for DJI to find the source of the leak. Nonetheless, we would recommend exercising some caution for the time being; there is every chance that these images have been manipulated or faked in some way. With that being said, DJI is expected to release the Avata 360 by December 23.
