Lenovo confirms key detail about new high-end Android tablet before imminent release

Lenovo is due to release several new tablets later this month in China. To recap, the company announced last week that the Legion Y700 Gen 5, Xiaoxin Pro 13 and Xiaoxin Pro GT13 would all be launching on March 18. In the meantime, it has already started selling the Legion Y700 Gen 5 globally as the Legion Tab Gen 5.
Moreover, it has now confirmed the chipset behind the cheaper of its two forthcoming Xiaoxin tablets. Previously, we suspected that Lenovo would choose the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, considering the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5's rumoured usage inside the Xiaoxin Pro GT13. However, the company has settled on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 from smartphones like the Poco F7 and Nothing Phone (3) (curr. $639 on Amazon).
Also available inside the Xiaomi Pad 8, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 combines a single ARM Cortex-X4 CPU core with seven ARM Cortex-A720 CPU cores spread across three clusters. Additionally, Qualcomm equips its 4 nm chipset with an Adreno 825 GPU for a 37% performance gain over the Adreno 725 underpinning last year's Xiaoxin Tablet Pro GT.
The Xiaoxin Pro 13 will combine the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with a 13-inch display that resolves at 3,504 x 2,190 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness. Lenovo has already confirmed that the tablet will be compatible with its new Stylus Pro, too. Other hardware details remain unknown for now, though.
