Lenovo releases new compact gaming tablet in Europe

Less than a week ago, Lenovo unveiled the Legion Tab Gen 5 at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. Equipped with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset as smartphones like the OnePlus 15 and RedMagic 11 Pro (curr. $799 on Amazon), the Legion Tab Gen 5 also features a 9,000 mAh battery and a 165 Hz display that resolves at 8.8-inches with a 3,040 x 1,904-pixel native resolution.
Initially, Lenovo had indicated that its latest Android tablet would officially arrive in April. However, Lenovo is already selling the Legion Tab Gen 5 in Europe. Currently, the new tablet starts at £699 in the UK and €799 in the Eurozone with 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM. Alternatively, Lenovo is also offering its new tablet with bundled accessories. Currently, one can configure the Legion Tab Gen 5 with a power adapter, a folio case or both.
At the time of publication, the latter costs £739.99 in the UK and €848 in the Eurozone. Also, Lenovo is only selling the Legion Tab Gen 5 in Eclipse Black, despite advertising the tablet globally in Glacier White and FIFA Edition variants too. Lenovo has not confirmed pricing or availability for other markets like North America or Australia yet, though. Please see our launch article for full Legion Tab Gen 5 hardware details.
