Affordable 8.8-inch gaming tablet with 144 Hz display set to arrive later this month

We already know a good deal about the upcoming Alldocube iPlay Mini 4 Ultra gaming tablet, courtesy of the plethora of teasers shared by the company in the past few weeks. It appears that we now finally have a concrete release date to look forward to as well.
iPlay Mini 4 Ultra: Dimensity 8300-powered gaming tablet with 144 Hz display
As announced by the company's official Bilibili handle, the iPlay Mini 4 Ultra compact gaming tablet will launch on the 31st of March, with pre-orders opening on the same day in China. As we have noted previously, Alldocube does like to bring its products to the global stage, and its latest offering is likely to arrive internationally as the iPlay 80 Mini Ultra.
The gaming tablet is expected to boast an 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2650 x 1440 and peak brightness of 500 nits, as well as a refresh rate of 144 Hz, making it perfectly suitable for fast-paced gaming. The capable Mediatek Dimensity 8300 SoC, also found in the Lenovo IdeaTab Pro (currently $280 on Amazon) will be powering the tablet, allowing for a roughly 18% improvement over its predecessor, the Mini 3 Ultra.
Other notable details of the iPlay Mini 4 Ultra (iPlay 80 Mini Ultra) which have been confirmed include a 7,200-mAh battery with bypass charging support, 33-watt fast charging, 7.75-mm thin chassis, and dual rear cameras. The gaming tablet has also been confirmed to be priced at 2,599 Yuan or roughly $377, and early buyers will be able to take advantage of a 400 Yuan ($58) launch discount.
That said, prospective buyers are definitely advised to be aware of the critical firmware-level security complications faced by several older Alldocube tablets in recent years.
