Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 leak teases bold new colorway for upcoming flagship gaming tablet

Lenovo has been teasing the Legion Y700 Gen 5 in China for a while now, and while the last-gen tab didn't make a global debut, the case with this one may be different. Reliable leaker @evelaks has leaked a bunch of pictures of the products that the brand is expected to showcase at MWC 2026, and the gaming tablet is among them.
Among the two leaked photos of the soon-to-be Legion Tab Gen 5, one shows the gaming tablet in a flashy new colorway. To look back, the official Weibo account has teased the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gaming tablet in black and white colorways. Per the leak, the third option will be lime green.
That's pretty much the only new info that was revealed in the leak from @evleaks. The leaker didn't share any other details, but Lenovo has already shared a lot about the upcoming gaming tablet.
Through one of the official teasers, the company has confirmed that the Legion Tab Gen 5 will feature an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 165Hz refresh rate and an 800-nit brightness rating. While Lenovo didn't confirm this yet, the gaming tablet will reportedly feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the current top-end flagship SoC, which will be paired with up to 24GB of RAM.
Digital Chat Station, another reliable leaker, shared that Lenovo will integrate a 9,000mAh battery, which should make it offer good runtimes, and it will reportedly have 68W fast charging support (100W Anker Prime charger curr. $59.99 on Amazon). Other than that, the company has recently shared that the tablet will come with AI features that will enhance the overall gaming experience.
There's still no official word from Lenovo about the launch. The good part is that MWC 2026 is around the corner, so there's isn't much waiting to do.
