Lenovo launches new rugged Android tablet in Europe

Lenovo has expanded its ThinkPad portfolio with the ThinkTab X11. Described as a robust Android tablet, the ThinkTab X11 also comes with a case that should make it hardier than many other competing Android tablets. In that sense, the ThinkTab X11 directly rivals the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro that we reviewed last year (curr. $574.99 on Amazon).
The similarities do not end there, either. In fact, Lenovo equips the ThinkTab X11 with the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset Samsung uses inside the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro. The ThinkTab X11 is thinner and lighter than Samsung's rugged tablet, though. Also, the ThinkTab X11 features a larger display that spans 10.95-inches diagonally.
Not only does the ThinkTab X11 contain a 0.85-inch larger display than the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, but it also contains a higher resolution panel with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel native resolution. The ThinkTab X11 peaks at 90 Hz and 600 nits, though. Elsehwere, the ThinkTab X11 contains a 10,200 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM.
The ThinkTab X11 will be available from April 2026 onwards. Currently, Lenovo has confirmed that this release window applies across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The company adds that the tablet will start at €499 (~$585) in the Eurozone.
