Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2: Budget 9.7-inch tablet expected to launch globally

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad series is expected to expand its lineup with a new tablet. The Redmi Pad 2 was released in June 2025 with an 11-inch screen. A new version of the Redmi Pad 2 has now surfaced on the GSMA's database.
The certification reveals three model numbers: 2604ERP4DG, 2604ERP4DC, and 2604ERP4DI. The suffix suggests these model numbers belong to the global, China, and India versions, respectively. The certification does not reveal any other specifications except that the tablet will sport a 9.7-inch display.
According to XiaomiTime, the tablet will launch in both LTE and Wi-Fi-only variants. Additionally, the latter variant could be rebranded as the Poco C Pad for certain markets.
