It seems Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new lightweight laptop. A Chinese reviewer who goes by @Bibalaptop on YouTube shared that the company has sent them what's speculated to be the refreshed Xiaomi Book 14. The early report from the reviewer hints that it will be a premium system with a thin and light design.
Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo leaker, has also shared a report about the laptop in late February 2026. The tipster reported that it will come with a 14-inch screen and can be equipped with up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor. It's a performance-focused CPU from the Panther Lake lineup that comes with the capable Intel Arc B390 iGPU.
The tipster adds that there will be a configuration with the Core Ultra 5 325, a mid-range option from the same family. In the report, Digital Chat Station mentions that the Xiaomi Book 14 will be offered with up to 32GB of RAM, but the initial storage options will be limited to 1TB (2TB Samsung T7 portable SSD curr. $314.22 on Amazon).
When it comes to the design, Digital Chat Station shares that the laptop will be lightweight, coming in under 1kg (around 2.2lbs). Other details about the Panther Lake Xiaomi Book 14 are still under wraps, but if the company has actually sent it to a reviewer, the launch is likely around the corner.
