GMKtec teases imminent launch of new mini PC with Intel Arc B390 Panther Lake iGPU

GMKtec was among the first manufacturers to introduce a Panther Lake mini PC right after Intel made the lineup official. Called the EVO T-2, it's touted to be the company's "2nd Gen Desktop AI Supercomputer," and it's already confirmed that the system will pack the Core Ultra X9 388H, a top-end processor from Series 3.
As we covered in our analysis, the Core Ultra X9 388H outpaces the efficiency of top-end Arrow Lake processors, and we found its Arc B390 iGPU to be capable of smoothly handling most AAA games at the 1080p resolution. Nonetheless, GMKtec highlights that this processor allows the EVO T-2 to stand as a competent system that can handle generative AI, gaming, and productive tasks with ease.
At CES 2026, GMKtec further revealed that the Intel CPU is paired with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and there are two PCIe M.2 slots with up to 16TB of storage support. The mini PC is also confirmed to feature a decent selection of ports, including a full-featured USB4, 10G Ethernet, and OCuLink.
Other than that, GMKtec noted that the system will have multiple power configurations, with support for up to 80W of dynamic TDP. There's a quad 4K display output support, and the GMK EVO T-2 is also touted to sport a capable cooling setup.
During the unveiling, GMKtec noted that the EVO-T2 is set for a Q1 2026 release, and didn't offer any specific details on availability or pricing. However, with a new teaser, the company has hinted that the mini PC will make a proper launch soon. There's still no word on the price, but it's worth noting that the EVO-T1 launched with a starting price tag of $999.99 (96GB/2TB curr. $1,396.45 on Amazon).
