GMK NucBox K13 is one of the lightest mini PCs available with Intel Lunar Lake

Mini PCs are becoming extremely powerful these days especially if equipped with H-series CPUs or the massive AMD Ryzen AI Max 395+. For users interested in leaner and more balanced options, however, may still prefer smaller solutions like the recently released GMK NucBox K13.
As mentioned in our review of the model, the NucBox K13 is notable for being one of the lightest mini PCs equipped with an Intel Lunar Lake-V processor. The 506 g unit is over 400 g lighter than the NucBox K12 or over 160 g lighter than the MSI NUC Cubi the latter of which ships with a similar Lunar Lake processor.
Many mini PCs "cheat" by having an external power brick that can sometimes be very large and bulky. The older Intel Hades Canyon NUC, for example, is infamous for having an AC adapter that is almost as large as the mini PC itself. While the NucBox K13 also ships with a power brick, it thankfully utilizes GaN technology for a denser, lighter, and more travel-friendly design. The 100 W adapter is notably smaller than most adapters of the same power output as a result.
Of course, the very light system comes with some compromises including fewer integrated ports and no built-in speakers that other mini PCs may have by default. Readers can check out our review of the NucBox K13 below to learn more about the system.
