Compact GMK K13 mini PC goes global with powerful CPU, capable iGPU, and eGPU support

The GMKtec NucBox K13 was recently introduced in China as a compact mini PC with a capable Lunar Lake processor. It's now available in the global market, and the price isn't that far off from what the system costs in the Chinese market.
There are two options available, with the base configuration featuring 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 storage. The launch promo price of it is $669.99, while the second has a 1TB SSD, and its current discounted price is $719.99.
Under the hood, this small mini PC packs the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, an upper mid-range processor from the Lunar Lake lineup. It features the Arc 140V iGPU, which can smoothly handle a good number of modern games at the 1080p resolution with tweaks on the visual settings.
While GMKtec is offering this compact mini PC with up to 1TB of storage, there are two PCIe 4.0 slots that can hold an 8TB SSD each (1TB Crucial P310 curr. $101.15 on Amazon). This makes the total supported capacity stand at 16TB.
The design is another highlight of the NucBox K13. It measures 186x88x36.6mm, which is smaller than most of the other Lunar Lake mini PCs. Although it's compact in size, there's a decent number of connectivity ports, including:
- 2x USB4 (full-function)
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x 5G LAN
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Thanks to the USB4 ports, users can pair the system with an eGPU to get an even better gaming performance, though it would've been better to see an OCuLink port. Nonetheless, GMKtech notes that the turbine fan cooling setup can keep the CPU cool under heavy loads. WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for triple display output are among the other highlights of the mini PC. Check out the spec sheet attached below to learn more about the NucBox K13.
