Zotac announces Edge AI mini PC with up to 64GB RAM

The ISE is a trade show, and unsurprisingly the products presented there are not primarily intended for consumers. This applies to the ZP-CM5-PICO but also to Zotac’s other new devices. These systems are aimed at industrial customers who, for instance, want to connect an existing analytics or manufacturing system to a central control center and, depending on the specific model, benefit from higher performance. This allows measurement data to be classified accordingly.
To be more exact, the ZP-RK88DX and ZP-RK76 models are devices based on the RK3588 and RK3576 chipsets, so they are primarily suitable for running Linux. The ZP-RK88DX can optionally be used with a DeepX module that provides an AI performance of 25 TOPS. The ZP-MI625DX has a very similar concept but is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, which already includes an NPU. M.2 SSDs are compatible with this mini PC, which also supports up to 64GB DDR5 RAM.
The ZP-S35N150P and ZP-PI339-P2 are equipped with the Intel N150, which is a processor that is pretty limited in terms of performance. That said, the ZP-PI339-P2 is passively cooled. Compared to the ZP-S35N150P, the ZP-PI339-P2 almost looks like a traditional mini PC, while the former is also designed for wall mounting. Both devices offer two HDMI 2.0 ports. Moreover, the ZP-S35N150P can be connected to other devices via RS485 and dual Gigabit Ethernet.
Zotac has not yet provided specific pricing or availability details. In any case, the mini PC and other Edge AI devices probably won’t be available at regular consumer-facing retailers but specialized distributors instead.
