Verdict — Good Balance Between Price And Performance With AMD
The NucBox K11 is distinguished from most other mini PCs by its integrated OcuLink port and eccentric RGB LEDs. The core basics of a decent mini PC are unscathed including the expandable RAM, expandable SSD, small profile, and good selection of integrated ports. Its $600 asking price is reasonable when considering that the Zen 4 Ryzen 9 CPU can still compete with relatively newer Intel offerings in both performance and efficiency.
Users who may be turned off by the superficial RGB LEDs have no easy way to turn them off at the time of writing. If GMK are to incorporate them onto more future products, then they should at least allow for customization or have them double as indicator lights. Thumbscrews would have also made the model even easier to service. Alternatives like the Beelink SER9 or MSI Cubi have more professional aesthetics and fewer plastic parts.

The NucBox K11 is an upper midrange mini PC that has more in common with the NucBox M7 Pro than it does with the NucBox K9. It's notable for incorporating both Oculink and overt RGB LEDs while running on modern Zen 4 hardware.
Our test unit comes loaded with the Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU, 32 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD for approximately $600. The barebones option can be found for as low as $480, but the Ryzen 9 CPU remains constant.
Alternatives to the NucBox K11 include other NUC-sized mini PCs like the BOSGAME M2, Geekom GT1 Mega, or Beelink GTI13 Ultra.

Specifications
Case
The chassis is essentially identical to the GMK M7 Pro albeit with RGB LED lighting for added visual flair. Unfortunately, the LEDs are static with no customization features or even a convenient way to toggle them off. The recent EVO-X1 suffers from this same issue as well.
Connectivity
The Oculink port is perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the NucBox K11. Otherwise, port selection is healthy on both the front and back of the model.

Maintenance
Sustainability
GMK advertises no sustainability measures taken during manufacturing. The packaging itself is mostly paper and cardboard with some plastic wrapping and foam protection.
Accessories And Warranty
The retail box includes a removable VESA mounting bracket and an HDMI cable in addition to the AC adapter and paperwork. The usual one-year limited manufacturer warranty applies if purchased in the US.
Performance
Testing Conditions
We set Windows to Performance mode prior to running the benchmarks below.
Processor
Performance is consistent with no notable throttling issues. The Ryzen 9 8945HS may be a couple years old, but it still holds up well against pricier alternatives like the Core i9-13900HK or even the newer Core Ultra 9 185H.

Emissions
System Noise
Fan noise generally hovers at or below 30 dB(A) when running undemanding loads such as browsers or video streams to be mostly inaudible in a typical office or home setting. Noise would remain below 40 dB(A) when running more demanding loads to still be quieter than most other AMD mini PCs including GMK's own EVO-X1.
