Verdict — Excellent Features And Build Quality For The Price
The GTI13 Ultra is very compelling especially after the recent redesign. It comes with a healthy number of features not found on other similarly priced mini PCs including integrated speakers, integrated power supply, integrated microphone, and support for eGPUs via a direct PCIe x8 connector. The Apple-inspired look is also arguably more professional than the largely plastic designs of other mini PCs like the NucBox K11.
There are a few major caveats to keep in mind. Firstly, the Core i9-13900HK processor is only marginally faster than last year's Core i9-12900HK in the GTI12 Ultra at best. Users on tighter budgets may therefore want to consider last year's model instead as the impact to performance would only be minimal. Secondly, integrated graphics performance is poor by today's standards as even cheaper midrange AMD options like the Beelink GTR7 can run laps around the Iris Xe 96 EUs. You'll certainly want to exploit the optional EX Docking Station solution for any serious graphics work as a result of the weak integrated Intel GPU. Even so, we applaud the accessible $600 starting price considering the included RAM, SSD, Windows 11 Pro OS, and other desirable built-in features.
Pros
Cons
Price and Availability
Amazon is now shipping the GTI13 Ultra with 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD as reviewed for $600. Alternatively, users can purchase directly from the manufacturer for the same price.

The GTI13 Ultra swaps out the 12th gen Alder Lake Core i9-12900HK processor in the GTI12 Ultra for the 13th gen Raptor Lake Core i9-13900HK. Chassis design and features are otherwise identical and so the only major difference between the two models is the updated CPU. We recommend checking out our review on the GTI12 Ultra to learn more about the physical features of the system.
Our test unit is an entry-level SKU with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD for approximately $600. All configurations come in either Silver or Grey color options with the same Core i9 processor. There are no barebones SKUs to choose from.
The GTI14 Ultra is also currently available shipping with Intel 1st gen (or informally, 14th gen) Meteor Lake Core Ultra 9 185H processor.
Alternatives to the GTI13 Ultra include other high-performance mini PCs like the Minisforum EliteMini AI370, GMK EVO-X1, or the Asus ROG NUC 14. The GTI Ultra series is notable for its full-length PCIe x8 interface to support external graphics cards via the EX Docking station.

Specifications
Case — Solid And Densely Packed
Unique features of the design include the integrated 145 W PSU, built-in stereo speakers, integrated microphone, and a full-size PCIe x8 expansion slot on the underside of the unit for connecting to the EX docking station as reviewed here. The latter has been slightly upgraded this year to support larger 3x or triple-slot graphics cards. Connecting an eGPU in this manner circumvents the bandwidth limitations of both Thunderbolt 4 and Oculink for a performance level closer to that of a standard desktop GPU configuration.

Power Consumption
Our Intel system is generally more demanding than competing AMD alternatives despite our slower processor and graphics performance for inferior performance-per-watt. Note that the GTI13 Ultra requires no external power brick unlike the vast majority of mini PCs.
