Amazon is now shipping the Beelink GTI15 Ultra mini PC equipped with one of the fastest Intel processors from the mobile Arrow Lake-H family. As detailed in our review for the device, the GTI15 Ultra integrates both stereo speakers and a PSU for an easier and cleaner setup process. In comparison, most other mini PCs require an unsightly AC adapter and a set of external speakers for any sort of audio. The latest Beelink model unfortunately doesn't come cheap, however.
Users can expect to pay around $1220 for the GTI15 Ultra equipped with 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD at the time of writing. In comparison, the GTI13 Ultra is barely a year old and it launched for only $600 to $700 with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The nearly 2x price increase gets you a faster processor, of course, but the sticker shock is nonetheless hard to swallow given that the GTI15 Ultra is visually identical to the GTI13 Ultra and so they share many of the same components.
The price discrepancy can be attributed to the general rise in prices of goods and especially the escalating demand for RAM and SSD. The worst part is that Beelink is not currently offering any barebones options which would have likely shaved off hundreds of dollars for consumers who may already have RAM and SSD modules available. The GTI15 Ultra is otherwise an impressive piece of hardware for the size, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for one this holiday season.
