Beelink has updated its SER9 series again after refreshing the SER9 and SER9 Pro (curr. $819 on Amazon) earlier this year. This time, the company has launched the SER9 Max, which it is offering in Frost Silver and Space Grey colours, both with AMD's Ryzen 7 H 255 APU packing 8 Zen 4 CPU cores and a Radeon 780M iGPU clocked at 2,600 MHz.
Additionally, the SER9 Max supports expandable storage via M.2 2280 (PCIe 4.0 x4) slots, as well as a host of ports spread across its front and rear panels. Confusingly, Beelink states that the SER9 Max features LPDDR5x 6,400 MT/s RAM in some instances and slower DDR5 5,600 MT/s RAM in other instances. Regardless, 10 Gbps LAN, DisplayPort 2.1 and a USB4 40 Gbps port are highlights, all within a housing that measures 135 x 135 x 44.7 mm and weighs 780 g.
For the time being, Beelink is only offering the SER9 Max with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage globally. At the time of writing, the mini-PC can be picked up for $699 from the company's website, but can be pre-ordered on Amazon for as little as $615 before taxes on Amazon US.
A barebones option is available in China for a 50% discount to around ~$325 at current exchange rates. Therefore, we would expect a cheaper SER9 Max variant to be available globally at some stage. Please see Beelink's website for more details.
