Minisforum is gearing up to launch the MS-02 Ultra, a performance-focused mini PC that aims to offer a high level of flexibility. The system has already been formally detailed by the company, and the launch is expected to happen soon. While the brand hasn't yet confirmed the price, it has just introduced a pre-launch discount for interested buyers.
As shared through a recent announcement, email subscription for Minisforum product updates from the MS-02 Ultra teaser page will let interested buyers snag a $50 discount.
For those who missed our previous coverage, Minisforum has revealed that the mini PC will be available to purchase from November 20, 2025. However, the company didn't clarify whether this is a global release date, as most of its products tend to launch in China first and then go international.
Regarding the system itself, the Minisforum MS-02 Ultra is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX, a performance-focused processor from the Arrow Lake lineup. It brings a 4-core Arc iGPU, which isn't the most capable integrated GPU from Intel yet, but users of this mini PC will be less likely to need something like it.
To be specific, the MS-02 Ultra brings one PCIe 5.0x16 and one PCIe 4.0x16 slot. The chassis can hold a dual-slot discrete GPU, and thanks to the USB4 v2 ports, the mini PC can be hooked up with high-performance eGPUs. Other highlights include support for 16 TB of NVMe storage (1 TB Crucial P310 curr. $89.99 on Amazon), a rich selection of ports, and 256 GB DDR5 RAM support.
