The Chinese manufacturer CWWK is now offering a new mini PC named the S7. Its stand-out feature is probably the network connectivity with a total of four Ethernet ports, two of which have a bandwidth of 10 Gbps, while the other two max out at 2.5 Gbps.
These fast LAN ports may not be relevant for users who have an internet connection with one gigabit or less, but this mini PC certainly won’t be a bottleneck even when using a quick router and NAS for local file transfers.
Most importantly, the CWWK S7 is now available on Amazon UK for prices starting at £313. The computer is sold and shipped by the manufacturer. The aforementioned price applies to the baritone configuration with the Intel N150. Alternatively, the mini PC is also available with an Intel Core i3-N305 and Intel Core 3 N355. Users can further choose between different memory configurations, for instance with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.
The compact system supports two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 SSDs. These can be used for Wi-Fi cards with an according M.2 Key-M to Key-E adapter. Rather unsurprisingly, this computer is designed to be used as a networking device, but it can also be used like a typical mini PC.
In terms of image output, both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 are available. The USB Type-C port on the front can be used to hook up an external display as well. In addition, there are two USB 3.2 ports with 10 Gbps on the front, and two rather slow USB 2.0 ports. Last but not least, the CWWK mini PC comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
