Oppo Find N6 tipped to be more expensive while full specifications surface ahead of launch

The Oppo Find N6 is expected to be released soon in China. Ahead of its launch, a leaked image on the Chinese social media site Weibo has surfaced online revealing detailed specifications of the upcoming foldable device.

The Find N6 may come in three color options, namely Gold Orange, Titanium, and Deep Black. In terms of thickness, it is said to measure 8.93mm when folded and 4.21mm when unfolded. The upcoming foldable may weigh 225 grams.

The leak points to a 6.62-inch BOE Q10 outer display with a resolution of 2,616 x 1,140 pixels. The LTPO panel is said to have a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, a minimum brightness of 1 nit, and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Furthermore, the inner Samsung E7 display may measure 8.12 inches with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. In terms of performance, the Find N6 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, comprising two cores clocked at 4.6GHz and five cores at 3.62GHz.

The new leak corroborates the previously reported Hasselblad camera system on the Oppo Find N6. The rear camera setup of the Find N6 may include a 200MP Isocell HP5 primary camera, a 50MP Isocell JN5 telephoto lens, and a 50MP Isocell JN5 ultrawide lens. For selfies, it may use 20MP cameras on both displays.

The leak suggests a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support (160W 3-port Anker charger curr. $115.99 on Amazon). Notably, the leaked image reveals the foldable phone to have a titanium alloy hinge. Oppo's upcoming foldable phone reportedly holds IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings.

The leak reveals three memory configurations, with the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The other two configurations are 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB, with the latter said to be the satellite communication model.

A separate leak from tipster Old Chen Air on Weibo suggests the Oppo Find N6 could come with a higher price tag. For reference, the Find N5 launched in China at a starting price of 8,999 yuan (~$1,304). 

At the time of writing, Oppo has not confirmed a release date for the Find N6. As the authenticity of the leak has not been verified, the reported information should be treated with caution.
