Oppo launching new 50W wireless charger with built-in cooling
The Oppo 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger has been revealed in China. This compact charging accessory appears to be an upgraded version of the original 50W Magnetic Turbo Wireless Charger.
The new Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger is said to deliver an up to 50W output, which should allow you to recharge an Oppo or OnePlus smartphone in less than 90 minutes. A built-in cooling system helps to protect against overheating. Plus, users can choose between three modes - charging, silent and heat dissipation - to suit their needs.
In the product listing, Oppo confirms that the 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger is also compatible with Apple and Android devices. The compact, round accessory is offered in a Mist White color and is powered via USB-C. It also comes with a desktop stand, to which the wireless charger can be mounted, allowing you to get a better view of your phone while charging.
Oppo’s 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger is expected to be released in China alongside the upcoming Oppo Find N6 foldable phone. Whether or when it could arrive in other regions like Europe, where the older model was available, remains to be seen.
