Baseus launches new compact PD charger with 70W fast charging support and three ports

Baseus has launched a new fast charger in China, the EnerFill FE22. Featuring a three-port design, it's marketed as a PD charger with support for 70W fast charging. The launch price in China is CNY 99, about $14.
Among the three ports, one of them is a USB-A, while the other two are USB-C ports. The former can offer up to 33W of power, and the latter two can max out at 70W when only one device is connected to the charger (3.3-feet 100W Baseus Type-C cable curr. $7.99 on Amazon). When the adapter is connected to three devices, the USB-C1 will offer 45W of power, while the latter two will deliver a combined output of 15W.
Now, while the company is marketing it as a PD charger, the EnerFill FE22 has support for multiple charging protocols. That includes UFCS, PPS, and SCP, which makes the adapter compatible with different devices.
The company also highlights that the charger comes with BPS 2.0 technology, which is a self-developed current splitting tech for efficient multi-port power delivery. It will ensure that the high-power devices get higher priority when multiple devices are connected to the adapter.
Another notable highlight of the charger is its compact size. It's said to be 30% smaller than traditional chargers that have the same power output. The foldable prongs make it more portable. While there's no word on the global launch yet, Baseus is known to offer most of its products outside China. So, the EnerFill FE22 could make a global debut soon.
