Deal | This co-op stealth sandbox where you get to play the villain is now 55% off on Steam this week

Developed by game studio House House and released in late 2020, Untitled Goose Game asks players to assume the role of a goose on the loose in a village full of colorful characters. Stalk your prey around the village, all while thinking of unique ways to pester them, like stealing their toys, chasing them, and interfering with their day-to-day lives.
Untitled Goose Game is the second game by studio House House. The first game the devs made was a local multiplayer game called Push Me Pull You, an award-winning game where you and a buddy are joined by a “long wriggling body” as you attempt to control the ball.
Prospective village terrors can even buddy up with a 2-player co-op mode and experience the full game, allowing the geese to plan complex pranks, or just ‘wing it.’ With a town-full of people to target and a dedicated honk button, this slapstick-stealth-sandbox promises hours of fun, especially with a friend.
After release, the game received a promising reception, garnering over 22,000 positive reviews and is ranked Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam. Fans of the games consider it an instant hit, especially with the free co-op update. Amongst the many praises sung for this indie hit, common themes include the unique art style, which matches the game's mischievous comedic theme, and its sandbox gameplay, which gives players the freedom to do as they wish.
Some players do note that there is a skill curve to the game, and while you can enjoy it to its full extent in a relaxing way, there are tasks and elements that can come across a bit difficult, leading some to ask for a difficulty setting, even though the review itself is marked as a positive.
A common element gamers have brought up is the game's price tag; some even said $19.99 was too high for a short game, though this was enough to give the game a negative mark. The review still recommended purchasing it at a discount.
Untitled Goose Game is currently available for purchase on Steam at a 55% discount for $8.99 until the 6th of March. For those looking to buy it on console, it has also made its way to the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch consoles, albeit at a higher price than what it currently commands on the Steam platform.
