Ahead of the official announcement of the March PlayStation Plus free games, a well-known leaker has revealed the lineup’s headliner — a 2025 sports game published by 2K.

While Sony is expected to officially announce the March PlayStation Plus free games lineup on February 25, a popular leaker has revealed the headlining title ahead of schedule.

The information comes from billbil-kun, a source known for accurate disclosures. According to the leak, the standout title in the upcoming lineup will be PGA Tour 2K25.

Released in February 2025 for the PlayStation 5, PGA Tour 2K25 is the latest golf title from HB Studios. IGN praised the game’s fluid animations and detailed visuals — from environmental backdrops to player movement — noting that character models more closely resemble their real-life counterparts. The review also highlighted performance improvements over the previous generation, though it criticized the commentary as underwhelming.

The game features a player skill tree that allows users to customize their golfer’s development based on preferred strengths. It also includes both PvP and co-op modes, available online and offline.

If officially confirmed, PGA Tour 2K25 — alongside the rest of the March lineup — will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers across the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers from March 3 through April 7.
