Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2 for $60, code-in-box version to come later

Earlier this month, Bethesda announced some of its titles would be launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 this year. Among the games mentioned in that announcement is Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, and true to its promise, the game has now been released for the Switch 2.
According to the press release, this is the first time Fallout 4 is available on a Nintendo console. The game, which is available to buy digitally from the Nintendo eShop for $59.99, includes the base game and six official add-ons. There are also over 150 Creations included, as there is no Creations menu in the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
The game comes in at a whopping 60.8GB, and while the Nintendo Switch 2 has 256GB of built-in storage, it is still advisable to purchase a microSD Express Card such as the Samsung P9 microSD Express Card (currently available on Amazon for $40) for additional storage.
Bethesda says it will also release a physical code-in-box version for the Nintendo Switch 2 on April 28. It will also release a code-in-box version for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on the same date. The digital version was released for the Switch 2 on December 9, 2025.
In addition to Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V, Bethesda will also be bringing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered to the Nintendo Switch 2. While the latter has no release date yet, Indiana Jones will be released on May 12.
It is already available to pre-order both digitally on the eShop, as well as the physical game card version from retailers such as Amazon for $69.99. The DLC for the game titled Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants will also be released on May 12.
