Nintendo begins selling special edition Switch 2 Pro controller

Last October, Nintendo announced that its Switch 2 Pro Controller will receive a special edition based on Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem video game, the latest title in the Resident Evil franchise. Now that the game has launched across platforms including on the Switch 2, the controller is also now available to purchase.
Priced at $99.99, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition is $10 more expensive than the standard version of the controller. The controller is available to purchase directly from Nintendo and third-party retailers such as Amazon.
The special edition controller has a gunmetal black color with the faceplate adorned with newspaper articles from the game. Unlike the standard version, which is also black but with light gray shoulder buttons, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition has a shine to it while its shoulder buttons are black.
Save for the cosmetic difference, there is no difference in features. The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition has HD Rumble 2, Amiibo support, motion controls, a C Button for GameChat, an audio jack, and programmable GL and GR back buttons.
