HyperMegaTech Super Pocket gets a Rare edition with 14 classic games

HyperMegaTech, the brand behind the Super Pocket handheld, has announced a special edition of the Super Pocket in collaboration with British game developer, Rare Limited. This special version of the vertical handheld comes with 14 classic games made by the developer.
Officially called the Super Pocket Rare Edition, the handheld has a Rare-inspired color scheme that is eye-catching. The front of the handheld is red, while the buttons are a bright yellow. There's also a Rare logo below the front-facing speaker. For the back, HyerMegaTech has gone with a shade of blue similar to the one used for the Super Pocket Capcom Edition (available on Amazon for $59.99). The L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons are also bright yellow.
The Super Pocket Rare Edition comes with 14 classic Rare titles released for various consoles and PC over the years. The list of games include popular ones such as Banjo Kazooie, Battletoads, and Jetpac. Below is the full list of titles preloaded with the handheld:

In addition to the pre-installed games, the Super Pocket Rare Edition is also compatible with Evercade cartridges, thus allowing users to expand their library of games.
The specs of the handheld are the same as that of the other variants announced in the past. So you get a device with a 2.8-inch IPS display with a 320 x 240 resolution, a 1.2GHz processor, an audio jack, a built-in battery that should provide up to 4 hours of gaming, and a USB-C port for charging.
The Super Pocket Rare Edition is priced at $69 in the US, £49 in the UK, and €59 in the rest of Europe. HyperMegaTech says the handheld is available to pre-order from partner stores such as The Game Collection, Argos, Funstock, and Amazon. However, when we checked, only Funstock and Amazon UK have it listed, and according to Amazon, the device will be released on June 26, 2026.
