Foldable Legion Go gaming handheld leaks with up to 11.6-inch OLED display

Gaming handhelds have a very loyal fanbase, with the Lenovo Legion Go family being one of the most well-regarded products in the arena. A recent report by Windows Latest claims that the publication has managed to get their hands on a brand-new gaming handheld concept that Lenovo has been cooking in the background.
Essentially, the concept depicts a foldable variant of the Legion Go with a 7.7-inch OLED display which can grow to a massive 11.6 inches when unfolded - even bigger than the 11-inch OneXPlayer X1 Pro (currently $1,400 on Amazon). This allows the gaming tablet to function as a compact handheld, as well as a tablet/laptop hybrid with generous amounts of screen real estate.
According to Windows Latest, this concept will be unveiled by Lenovo at MWC Barcelona early next month, and the specifications will be as follows:
- Intel Core Ultra 258V "Lunar Lake"
- Detachable controllers
- 48 watt-hour battery

The processor choice appears to be rather disappointing and strange, considering that Lunar Lake chips are nearing their second birthday. Moreover, Intel has already released powerful Panther Lake chips with impressive efficiency and iGPU performance - perfect for a high-end handheld.
That said, a concept is just a concept, and if the foldable Legion Go ever does near production, its internal specifications will most likely be updated.
Interestingly, the detachable controllers will also be able to function as a mouse, allowing for precise movements in FPS games. A small display mounted on the controller will portray important metrics and other data. A wireless keyboard along with a touchpad will also be provided, allowing for laptop functionality.
Needless to say, there is no word on how expensive such a device would be. If and when the foldable Lenovo Legion Go gaming handheld does become a reality, it will almost certainly be far from cheap.
