Lenovo teases competitive-focused AI upgrades for Legion Y700 Gen 5 gaming tablet

Lenovo has been teasing the Legion Y700 Gen 5 for quite a while now, and so far, a lot of information about the gaming tablet has been revealed. Now, through new teasers, the company has detailed two gaming-focused AI features that are being marketed for the tab.
These features are part of the Lenovo Tianxi AI platform, and one of them focuses on enhancing the scheduling function for better performance. As the brand describes, it detects the load on the device and optimizes the system scheduling. It can reportedly offer 25.6% better minimum frame rate than competitive devices.
The company also claims that the scheduling optimization leads to stable frame rates, which should lead to a better competitive gaming experience with the tablet. Moving to the second gaming-focused AI feature, it's called Voiceprint Hunter 2.0. The brand says that it will offer targeted audio enhancements.
More specifically, Lenovo claims that the feature will enhance key audio details, such as enemy footstep sounds. This will lead to a competitive edge in multiplayer games.
Other than that, Lenovo has yet to share when the Legion Y700 Gen 5 gaming tablet will launch. Per recent reports, it will make a Chinese debut in March 2026, and it's unclear whether the company will bring it to the global market.
To look back, the Gen 4 device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite is still China-exclusive, while competing devices like the RedMagic Astra were available internationally. Lenovo is expected to share more official details about the gaming tablet before the rumored March 2026 unveiling.
