New Casio G-Shock GM-H5600 MIP LCD watch could launch soon

Fresh rumors about the Casio G-Shock GM-H5600 are circulating. The 'GM-H5600' model number was confirmed by certification bodies in late 2025. This points to a square watch, like the DW5600E-1V (‘DW5600UE-1V’ curr. $64.92 at Amazon). It is also thought that the device will have a stainless steel bezel and a heart rate monitor.

Now, Casio blog Great G-Shock World indicates that the new G-Shock GM-H5600 digital watch will have a memory in pixel (MIP) LCD, with high contrast for enhanced readability. This would follow on from 2025 releases like the GW-BX5600 and the GMW-BZ5000, which also feature MIP LCD screens. Whether the display will be positive (light background, dark figures) or negative (dark background, light figures) is unclear.

In the same report, it is said that the new Casio G-Shock GM-H5600 heart rate monitoring watch will be available in two colorways: silver and gold. The exact model numbers of these two versions have yet to be confirmed. Plus, while earlier rumors pointed to a release in the first nine months of 2026, it is now thought that Casio will launch the G-Shock GM-H5600 in March 2026. It is expected to launch in the brand’s home market of Japan and roll out to other countries in the following weeks and months.

It remains to be seen precisely when the Casio G-Shock GM-H5600 watch will officially launch. How much it will cost is another unknown.
