Casio releases new G-Shock GG-B100 metal bezel watches with quad sensors in the UK

The Casio G-Shock GG-B100XM-1A and GG-B100XMB-1A watches are now available in the UK. These two hybrid timepieces arrive in this market several weeks after three others: the GG-B100X-1A, the GG-B100X-1A3 and the GG-B100X-1A9.
At the Casio online store in the UK, you can now buy the G-Shock GG-B100XM-1A and GG-B100XMB-1A watches for £369 each. That makes them £20 more expensive than the other three GG-B100X watches (RRP £349).
The difference between the GG-B100X and the GG-B100XM watches is in the bezel material. While the GG-B100X watches have a carbon fiber bezel, the GG-B100XM watches have stainless steel bezels. The GG-B100XM-1A is a black watch with a silver tone metal bezel and red accents like the seconds hand. The GG-B100XMB-1A has an all-black design, with an ion-plated metal bezel and golden yellow rather than red accents. Both variants use the Carbon Core Guard structure, with shock and mud resistance, and 200 m water resistance.
Features of the G-Shock GG-B100 include Bluetooth connectivity for automatic time adjustments via the Casio Watches app. This is a Quad Sensor model, with the standard triple sensor - altimeter/barometer, thermometer and digital compass - alongside a step counter. The model supports world time and can show sunrise and sunset times. Other basic features are a stopwatch, a timer and alarms. These watches have three analog hands, remaining accurate to 15 seconds monthly, and a digital display showing information like the date and day of the week.
Whether or when the Casio G-Shock GG-B100X watches could be released in other markets like North America remains to be seen.
